Total tuneins

Hi

Does anyone know how Shoutcast calculates the total number of tune ins that are reorder in the stats section and appear to be updated monthly. I would really appreciate the help

it's based on what the DNAS provides to the YP servers during the touch update the DNAS receives and then gets aggregated / worked out from there.

First thanks very much for taking the trouble to respond

I think I understand what tour saying but is it possible you could put in more laymens terms for me , part of the reason I posted here is I can't get a simple answer from the it people.

Is it that the total tune ins registers each computer , or device that comes , iPhone etc , and the number is counted each time

I know what DNAS are but not yp in your reply
