Spectrum Analyzer

I have winamp on both of my computers and I have a problem with the spectrum analyzer. It works with mp3's and stuff I download, but when I play my own music cd's (store bought) i get no spectrum. I know there's a way to fix this because my friend also runs winamp and his spectrum works for his store bought cd's.

I'd like to know it, too. Neither my Oscilloscope nor the Equalizer works with an audio-CD.

check the cd/linein plugin. make sure the first box (sample input from soundcard) is checked. that should do it.
