Interesting log fragment

absolutely nothing to do with windows media player 12 in that fragment

but it does show that you source connection is denied

nothing will be able to play if there is no source connection, not even windows media player ESP version that just "knows what you mean"

to listen in media use: mms://ip:port?sid=1

mms isn't a supported protocol with the v2 DNAS. you should just be able to put into WMP the <server_address>/listen.m3u?sid=1 or <server_address>/listen.asx?sid=1 and it should then work (does for me with the current public and internal builds).
