Additional Info-Fields for Shoutcast 2.0

Hi Guys,
sorry for my bad english.

I have a little Problem with the new Shoutcast Server v2.

Before i use the Parameter: AIM and ICQ for "Moderator Nickname" and "E-Mail Address". Now the Parametres are not available, have anyone an idea to add the Parameter in V2?

There is no way, as these fields are obsolete in V2. So you have to find another solution. We are doing it the same way and now think about a webbased solution for our broadcasters.

By the way, I would like to raise another question.

Is the sc_trans API capable to parse incoming stream data from DSPs connecting to it via getOptions?
We found the parameter very useful, but unfortunately, it doesn't parse the stream but the config file from sc_trans, which would also solve problems from Mantakun.

if the source provides the information then the v2 DNAS will still have a record of it and does sort of send it to the YP but as noted, it will not be actively used. so what can be done is to query the DNAS for information about the stream in order to find out that information about the current connection and then go from there.

however, if using sc_trans and DJ connections, that information is currently not passed on to the DNAS and only what has been set in the sc_trans config file will be passed on (or if not then it'll most likely be passed on in a future update along with when the DJ's information is passed on). i think that should also cover the second question raised.
