It obviously means they are all crap.

I tried them all (3 or 4) and they are all designed in the 90´s by morons
and they have not been updated for many years
and they are outdated
and they are full of bugs and flaws.

It surprises me that Shoutcast doesn´t come up with its own panel
cause half the business is being ruined by these crap panels.
I guess that is caused by none of the experts here actually have any
real market, real life expierence with that (control panels, auto.dj´s etc)

I have no idea who runs or owns Shoutcast...i guess AOL but to me it seems
that Shoutcast is something they dont care about.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/nullnuke/ - you can use the whole CMS as you site, the shoutcast 2 module only has a few database tables and cookie lines if you port it to your own site

@ p0rt

I looked at that nullnuke
and it appears to me that its complicated and programming-skills are needed.
but that is not what the market needs.

We need a good controlpanel with extensive autodj
with a simple User Interface (control panel) that can be operated and
ajusted by non-programmers.
Something like Centova but without the bugs, more modern, and better support.

There are a few out there, but as some people have mentioned, they're not all that good and seem out of date half of the time. We ended up writing out own panel but if you're just looking for something simple then Cast Control and Centova are ok.

null nuke is a "CMS" with a shoutcast 2 control panel, you only really need to make a theme,

if you run null on a dedicated box and use it for your site, you can run and manage shoutcast 2 servers running on the same dedicated server or monitor remote shoutcast 2 servers
