Hi,

The Win based Winamp has this feature (if memory serves correctly), it would make the Mac based Winamp a useful DJ tool if it could support non-systemwise-set alternate output devices.

Why re-invent the wheel?

Have a look at free system-level audio switching & routing apps such as SoundFlower (http://cycling74.com/products/soundflower/) or JackOSX (http://www.jackosx.com/).
