ok, I loaded winamp, the shoutcast plug in and even downloaded the server program. The server tells me I am streaming on port 8000, but I don't know what address to tell people to go to to listen, I am not listed on shoutcast or anything!!!!! Help

go to start->run and type in winipcfg.

that SHOULD work for dialup users.

The address should be four numbers separated by . and I think it's called either IP address or host address (I'm running win2000, so i don't have winipcfg to check). Whatever it is called, it's not subnet mask or default gateway.

To the Ip address issue. Your streaming address is http://Ur_IP:streaming_port/listen.pls. The easiest way to find your wide area IP is to go to whatismyip.com (http://whatismyip.com)!
