I'd like to code a general purpose Winamp plugin using Visual Basic 6. Does anyone have any sample code or tutorials on doing this? All the sample code that I can find is either written in C++ or Delphi which I can't understand. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

You can't make plugins for Winamp because VB won't export functions (don't ask me why, I just read it on this forum somewhere). You've got to use GenWrapper by Col_Rjl to make general purpose plugins..
Download GenWrapper here: http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/vault/WinAMP_VB.jhtml
Also peep this thread (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=f7795d9a111a44a7) and the links in one of the posts..
I'm using GenWrapper to make my general purpose plugin which lets me control Winamp from another PC on my network. So far, it'll just open a file or add it to the playlist, but I'm going to expand it :)
Interested? mail me!
ps. I know that I'm a bit late with my answer, but better late than sorry right?
