Was this forum created to enable coronation of more moderators, or am I just getting my hopes up unrealistically again only to have them dashed mercilessly against the jagged marble floors of reality lying in wait far below?

i think watadoo listens to what people say on these forums, every time some1 begs to be a mod, they get it.

I suspect it's based on a combination of Watadoo's own impressions of users, how much they post, and other users' recommendations. If it were just based on asking for it, I'd already be fixing up the greatest hits forum. Actually, I just remembered I have gotten a couple recommendations, so maybe there's some other factor. Maybe it's just because I screwed up a little bit back when I was Winane/Wlnane that I'm not a mod. Who knows?

Anyway, how about moving this forum up a notch in the forum listings, above Backstage, so that non-mods with 1024x768 or less resolution don't have to scroll as much to check for new posts?

more than likely not, I elect Xerxes to be mod in the skins forum, reasons being:
1) He's an excellent people person (calm, cool, collected)
2) He's proven himself a master in the art of skinmaking! Excellent in the field and is always helpful to others who try to improve their skills.

My next electee is Winsane and/or Videocrew (if you ever have a spot in the "technical support_'s" forums)for the following reason:
1)THEY are very knowledgeable AND user friendly!

Sometimes you become mod, try to please everyone and take on the stupid task of trying to tame GD and then get a lot of people pissed off at you. Bitch a lot about the lack of Admin support, so one day you end up with Admin access and end up pissing more people off. So you just get sick of it one day and purge your posts and deleted you account.

I talked with him a while ago, he sounded like he was bussy with work and for the most part happy he hadent been around much.

I was gone when all that happened, I just remebered him from a while back when he was a mod.
I used to talk with him about winamp back in the day thru AIM, so when I read those posts I was talking about I thought he might be able to sheed some lite on it.
I knew he was still roaming around in the forums, guess I dont pay that much attention anymore.
