Why the hell are WildTangent plugins still here?

If you monitor your system, you will see that WildTangent plugins send information back to their servers(WITHOUT TELLING YOU!!!)

Take these plugins off Winamp.com
I could not get a straight answer about what info the plugin is collecting, but it is collecting something...WITHOUT YOU KNOWING!!!

While surfing through www.progenic.com (http://www.progenic.com) I came acrost a little program called ad-aware it works pretty good the website is here. www.lavasoft.de (http://www.lavasoft.de)
As for Wild Tangent anything it can bite my ass. Because it just slows down my computer and when I tried deleting/removing the directory it wouldent let me cause there is always a dll in use (probalby the one sending back data?) so I went in in safe-mode and "took care of it" http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif

I never saw the appeal of WT, anyway. I didn't know that, but it doesn't matter, anyways. the one I d/led looked like SHIT. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE COOL STUFF IN THERE? Gimme acidspunk/g-force. MMMMmm... Tasty.

I've always like spectrum analyzers and wireframe visuals. My two favorites are Sexy Attached Analyzers and WhiteCap.

Geiss is the best. No question about it. Unless if you like wireframe (an art unto itself). For fluid vis, Geiss rocks cuz its fast, varied presets/config options, and really nifty palettes and SOLARIZED PALETTES!

There's nothing fluid about it on my puter. I've got a P233 and Geiss runs really choppy. Oh well. I've got other things to do than just sit and look at visuals all day.

That's really odd... are you running it full screen? Try cinematic screen at 30% - 50%. also, use 8 bit cuz it looks better and is much faster.

I've got my computer on all day running winamp, so rather than turn of my monitor or use a screensaver, I use Geiss. If I did sit around all day looking at visuals, I'd go whacko from all the purty colors.
