Ahhh the days of high school, let's see at mine they didn't have barbed wire but that had rod iron fences or tall chain link fences, metal detectors, several "staff members" (basically security), and best of all a gun toting police officer. And that was everyday you should have seen the place when shit was going to go down, there's nothing like having a helicopter circling the school at lunch. Ahh the glory of the public school system, but that is all too far away, now I am in the middle of hillbilly paradise missing the days of burning trashcans and gang fights.

During the winter here, it doesn't usually get any colder than 65. I've got a nice leather jacket that I haven't used for a long time 'cause of this. It's torture on my truck, too, because I have to run the AC all the time and it gives me crappy gas milage. I hope things get better soon.

Hehe. School. I remember that. I graduated a year younger than my classmates, simply because I'm so god (I don't give 'god' a capital letter because it's a figment of the imagination and nothing more) damned gifted. That means when I went on the end-of-school celebrations down at the Gold Coast (called "schoolies - the biggest post-school thing in the world after Spring Break) I was 16 years old. 16! My best friends were turning 18, and I still had two years to go until I could legally drink. That didn't stop me, but it made getting stopped by the cops a LOT more exciting/exhilirating/scary.

Anyway, yeah, high school. That was not fun. For the last three years of it, I was enrolled in the most exclusive boys' school in the country. Not fun.

OK, I'm 14, and I go back on the 6th. My Birthday is the 8th, so that sucks. What a present, right. I have 2 reports due the first day of school, I have very few friends I can hang out with that know what a computer is, and the one girl Ive been waiting and waiting for has finally dumped her old BF. but now my former best friend (former as of about 2 years ago) is practicly fucking her in the corner of the party i went to. Im getting hurt like everyday, whether its emotional or physical (football) and if i dont get what i need this year to get a scholarship to a good college, well, im screwed for life. Ahh, the wonders of being a teenage male and not understanding half the shit that goes on in life.

school sucks. not that they make me work. it's that all the "hard" stuff is a repeat of what i've already done. school is a joke. just skiped a grade in math. the first month of the class is just what i did in the first week of project L.E.A.R.N. in 5th grade. i want out.

i have two good classes that keep me ocupied: orchestra and french. the rest of the day is a waste of my time and theirs, not to mention the countless amount of taxpayers money. it costs far more money than i have earned in my job this year to fund my 8th grade education, and the one class i like has a falling budget that cannot cover the expenses for a growing orchestra. they better fix this. tim cluver is an asshole. i hope he reads this. he lies more than bill clinton. has a job a monkey can do. pretends to listen when you talk, the truth is he doesn't give a shit. and still, he makes more money than i'll see in a long time. still hope he reads this, becase i simpilly dont give a fuck.

anyway. brighter subject. heard a story about my english teacher. dumbass. guess what she told one of her students after failing many assignments: "you will have to come for A.S.S". A.S.S. meaning after school school. who could be so fucking stupid? she is 50 telling that to a 14 year old student. does not look good.

if it seems like i've stoped posting at all and died, i probally did. since i have to be at school (WHY?), i cannot read e-mails and posts all day. so ... whatever.

Just keep in mind that I said I don't drink much. Hehe... I like a good beer every now and then. CR is good, too. I also used to smoke, but no more. That's a lot worse for you than alcohol. In the States, you have to be 18 to smoke legally. It's not worth it anyway.

The school system is quite screwed- as i've
said before it will continue down that path
until Teachers unions are dissolved.

Anyway- I did the home schooling thing
back when it wasn't very fashionable. So I
got a job in a small graphics studio and
did all my courses on my free time. That was
a REAL education, and working in my chosen discipline gave me more education than any
rotten school system could have ever given me. Plus I slept till 10 every day... which also had a very positive effect on my life. Anyone who hates their school should
really check out what programs are available
in their area- I actually convinced my
parents to let me do it after one horrible
freshman semester at godforsaken Newport Harbor High. Where even the teachers surf
and do pot. (And i'm not lying about that)
