heh...nope http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif Actually it is from the Gormenghast trilogy by Mervin Peake. He is one of Titus Groans obnoxious tutors.

The BBC actually made a mini-series out of the first two books earlier this year... It was pretty darn spiffy actually! Rare for a book conversion. Some really nice surrealist gothic sets and some wonderful characterisations... Swelter and Steerpike were superb!

But I digress, there you go, worth a read if you're into something slightly unusual.
