Following a good idea of Flynnz's, I made a freedrive account for forum users to share files
Username: winampuser
pwd: llama
A few guidelines:
<LI> MP3's (or any other audio files) must go in the mp3 folder. They can only remain on the HD for 48hrs to save space. Please don't keep mp3's on for longer.
<LI> Everyone who wants to use this space must create a folder under their board nick (except for me, because I', special http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/tongue.gif), and put their files in there. Ok, ok, I'll make a folder for myself, but SG files will get their own folder.
<LI> Forum mods, such as myself, will check the contents of the the hard drive whenever they have time, and feel like it. They can remove any file that they feel does not belong there.
<LI> A non-mod is not allowed to delete any file that they have not uploaded themselves. If you think there is a file that does not belong there, lodge a complaint at thepoorboy@myself.com, and I'll take it under consideration.
<LI> file names must be ass descriptive as possible.
<LI> no porn or warez.
<LI> text files may be removed if they are inappropriate, at the discresion of the involved mod.
Use this account for anything you feel your fellow member may enjoy. I don't want to get to involved as a the big bad police, so I'll trust that you will use your better judgment when uploading a file. I personally don't mind pretty much anything, but if it's a file that obviously is eating up space, it will be deleted.
NOTE: I put this message in the Bitchlist because practially only members visit it, so I could reach as much of the target audicnce as possible. I would have posted it in the general discussion forums, but a lot of unreggies go there too, and I didn't really want a million people using this space
