This is an odd one folks. I'm not sure if its since I installed the 2.71d decoder but now seeking by dragging the seek bar, windowshade + mousewheel click and scroll, non windowshade mousewheel click and scroll, clicking somewhere on the seek bar, etc., basically any kind of seek function causes the seek bar button to go all the way to the end (all the way to the right) and say there until you change tracks or stop, and also causes the time display (elapsed OR remaining mode) to only count upward on each second of the track played... as though it were working as a "odometer" for how much of this track you played. Occasionally it also resets to 0 when you seek.

I'd be curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this. :)

not that it matters but heres the run down
win2kpro/192mb/p2-450/yadda hardware isn't really a factor here but eh...

[update] rebooting changed nothing... now it seems that elapsed and remaining both function as elapsed, the only difference being in remaining it displays the usual negative symbol '-'

Okay here's how it is now. Reinstalling winamp twice (yes twice) fixed the error. Reinstalling the 271d decoder caused no new problem. I still dont know if anyone else had this problem as I see no replies but for now at least the problem seems to be gone. Is this a reoccuring problem? I dont know. Could I be the only one out of all the winamp users out there having it? In my experience, yeah that would probably happen.

anyways if no one else is having this problem then my apologies in advance for starting a pointless thread. :(
