mmmmmm... I love legos.

Once I built a big rig truck with steering and I'm gonna make a trailor soon. It's about 20 inches long by 6 inches wide. it's black and red and blue ansd it has a living compartment in the back with a bed and a TV. the front has rack & pinion steering and open-up doors with a person inside I stole from my submarine set. You know, the 4 1/2 tall ones? not the teeny ones. they would be too small.

I also built a TV set with a camera and moving props a long time ago. Except it had big wheels that were a pain in the ass to move around. so I took it to the top of the stairs and dropped it. needless to say, it broke. so after that, I took my parts and built a house.

I mostly use technic now that they have the pneumatics and gears and crap. I love technic. One day, I'm gonna build a working car. Ok, prolly not, but I like my legos.

im more of a lego freak than you... :D

using nothing but legos (all of my legos all together weigh 345 lbs, no kidding) i build a huge spaceport that took up a table which is 7x4. it included a working elevator made with the pnuematic technic pieces, a movable satalite which moved via the motor thing, and even a pnumatic rocket that really fired... and runway lights thanks to a little piece i got from a big ass mofo rocket a few months back. i wish i had taken pictures... ill have to build it again sometime. oh well.


and i agree, technics rule! i made a helicopter before, like 2 feet long... and added a windshield and other stuff.

ps: i weighed all of them on a Dog Scale my neighbor has, but this was last year, and ive gotten a few more sets since then. theyre all in this big rubbermade container, which is too large to fit thru the ceiling into the attic. next, all i gotta do is count the pieces, and find out an approximate price on the pieces. oh, i just need to wait for a rainy day.

and i would still use technic but it got too expensive,, im broke. i think ill start with that mindstorms thing. if i ever get the money.

Lego was my only playtool for many years. I used to love building monstrous things out of them, and then driving them over the edge of the stairs...

Then I found about the other playtool i had.

I have a Lego Mindstorms thingy.
It's a robot with light, and touch sensors all over it and you program it with your PC, via infrared.
I have made a HUGE one with legs about 2ft high, with the Mindstorms engine in it. It goes around the house.
If it bumps into something it turns around and walks the other way.
If it is in a dark place it switches its flashlight on, located in the body, ointing down.
If it's in a lighter place, it walks around as normal.
Cool eh? :cool:

I used to love lego, but in my young time,
everytime I was building a new model or simply a new building just from my immagination, My younger brother was always destroying it, so it's why I became bored of Legos...

But I still think it's a good way to develop you immagination and you brigthness (Q.I.)...

I don't think the plastics used in lego is the same as the one used to make PC shells... I don't know! Maybe you could try it.

I remember building a two meter (six foot) long rally car - it took me two weeks, and it owned! V12 engine, (which wasn't quite to scale), it had those built in jacks, oh, it was cool.
I thought about asking my parents for Mindstorms for Christmas, but they may have a problem with buying me it (I'm 20...) Oh well.
Are there any lego skins out there? If not, I'm off to make one now!

I've just had a relly cool Idea i'm gonna build a lego computer :) Build the box out of lego!
I might or I might get bored and do something else but it'll have to be ATX unless I want to get electrocuted :D

I'm more of a lego technic man/boy (:D) myself I once built a truck with and engine and It was cool untill I ran it into the wall :(
