One time I was inspired to use Shoutcast via Mp3Spy (or whatever it used to be called) so I downloaded my long lost Winamp and started listening to broadcasts all the time.
But now about a year later, I'm into Shoutcast again only Winamp decides not to steam the music after buffering it. Therefore, I get a solid minute of song, then it pauses another minute to buffer the radio.
This happens with ALL stations I've tried using Winamp. The 24kpbs streams that used to work well with my 56k don't anymore. I stop receiving any data after the buffering stops and this happens on both my computers. RealPlayer streams its broadcasts perfectly, but I haven't tried RealPlayer with Shoutcast. Oh no, I want Winamp! =(
Hey I'll be getting DSL soon, maybe then I can listen to 24kpbs streams with only a second of pause. Can anyone help?
