Error message when posting skin

Hi,

I can’t seem to publish my skin because I keep getting an error message. The message says that: 'Component names may only contain a combination of letters and numbers'.

Even though the skin that I am trying to publish only has a combination of letters and numbers it still won’t post.

To help solve my problem, here is exactly what appears in the Components name box after I have pressed browse and located the file: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\jenniferlopez2.wsz

I’ve tried many times to publish the skin but I keep getting this error message. I have even tried changing the filename to something else but this still doesn’t work.

Also, please note that the file is changed from *.zip to *.wsz

At the very top of the submission form, where it says 'Name', are you putting your name, or the name of the skin? They don't make it very clear on the form that this is where you put your skin's name.

Is this a first time submission, or an upgrade to a previous submission? If it's an upgrade, they have to have the same name.

Thanks for taking the time to try to solve my problem.

I've got the problem sorted now. I changed the name of the skin and that seemed to have worked.

By the way, I would just like to say that all the technical support staff at Winamp are doing a great job so please keep it up.
