After thinking there was a bug in my code that grabs the mpeg header info for an mp3 ... (I was after all using winamp as the definitive) I find out its winamp thats wrong.
I have an example of an mp3 file that displays as 320kbit on the winamp IDtag screen (which i was using as my guide) and 128kb (which is correct) on the main winamp display. Obviously the logic in picking up a valid header sync is different in the ID tag screen ... it seems to be picking up an invalid one in some instances.
I have the mp3 file if you want me to send you an example.
Great product by the way, killed many an hour listenin with it I have.
