Skins and Plug-ins

man.. you guys need to put the nice little option back on the web page to choose how many skins and plug-ins to see at one time per page... do you know how damn long it takes to get through all that shit 4 skins at a time... ??? shit... and they're not all that good... just imagine only being able to drink from a cup with four fingers and no thumb.... you know.. the opposable thumb that makes life so damn nice... ya... that one...

All you need to do to view more skins/plugins per page is add a number (maximum is 50) to the URL in your Address Bar.

ie. Where it says "howMany=" at the end of the address, add a number and either hit Enter or the "Go" button.

:) we all got a little peeved by this "feature" when it was introduced, but have come somewhat accustomed to it. Sort of. ;)

well.. i went to the skins and plug-ins pages (followed the links) and then went to the five star section..... i found nothign in the URL that said "howMany=" so ... .i dunno... if you have any other ideas that would be great...

ok.. i went to the link on the previous post (thank you)... but where the hell does any of that url show up..?? do i need to copy that in order for the damn option to work..??? maybe someone needs to FOLLOW THE LINKS and look for themselves.... the url in five star looks nothing like the one on the post given...

soooo..... which one is correct..?? obviously i can't add the number to a url string if there is nothing to add it to... so now what..?? maybe we should just end the damn hassle and put the option back on the page itself... shit... how hard is a few lines of code..??

The howMany=## key can be added to either URL and it will work. If it already has the "howMany=" part, then just add the number of components you want to view per page. ie. "howMany=" becomes "howMany=50"

As for the other one, simply add the entire "howMany=50" section to the end of the URL.

Or rather, add "&howMany=50", not just "howMany=50". So that first URL would become:
http://winamp.com/customize/browse.jhtml?componentFlag=S&categoryName=Five+Star&howMany=50
