Suggestions for Media Library

I like the Media Library, but here are a few suggestions:

-Be able to give it a folder, and it checks the folder and its subfolders for new files

-Sorting by artist gives a list of Albums as subfolders, and files for misc. files without the info.
Something similar for Genre and Year (Gives artists, then albums)

I totally agree on the Artist/Album sorting. This is the way Real Jukebox works, but none of the other products do.

Also, the ability to play songs and whole albums (in order according to id3 track number) within the Media Library without sending those songs to a playlist first!

something small, but fairly simple

I would like to be able to sort the database by bitrate
so for example "u would click bitrate on the far left
choose 128kbps in the middle and all the songs at 128 kbps would be listed"

Just a couple things:
As suggested, playing a song without sending it to the playlist would be really nice. And second, will the media library columns be sortable? For instance, if you select "all music", it would be nice to put the artists in alphabetical order.
