Streaming from a linein...

I've installed linein plugin, it runs without problems. i've connect my radio to linein of soundcard and i can listen radio from computer speakers, but i can't broadcast to my friends, they can't listen to my music.
what can i do? i would like to connect a lineout of a mixer to linein of pc to stream live music.

As I look through the posts, there have been allot of people asking about this, but no one has an answer. I ran into this same problem when trying to broadcast my turntables and finally discovered what to do. So you have your source playing, and Winamp is set to play linerec://
Next, go to Preferences (ctrl P) and select DSP/Effect and SHOUTcast source… With that highlighted, click ‘Configure’. Now that you have linerec going, you should se an option for ‘enable advanced…’ click this and check ‘line in’. Then Click OK, and your SHOUTcast box should change with the new controls and you should start streaming your source. Hope this helps.
