Hi everyone !!
I want to know what do you think of punkie ?
have you any feedbacks ? Have you any idea of effects you would want to have in Punkie ?
What do you don't like in Punkie ?
Be sure to have the last version (Punkie v1.6) before give your feedbacks (you can download the last version at http://scalpel.multimania.com).
Thanks in advance !

Make it slower!
Even with FPS restrictions it still runs blisteringly fast, which is good from a programming point of view but when a quiet piece of music comes up it just looks out of place.
Perhaps if it changed its speed depending on the pace, now that would be cool.

Sorry Adsha but I don't want to make it slower ;-) !
I do my best for get it faster !!
But you can slow down the plugin by increasing the resolution. (Try 1600*1200 32 bpp, you'll see how Punkie is slow :-) ! ) And you can enabled V-Sync in order to limit FPS to the Vertical Synchronisation of your screen !
When music become quiet, the zoom speed slow down ... what do you want more ;-) ?

Hello, i am a musician (electro/triphop/bigbeats), i used punkie projected on the wall behind us for our last liveshow, it was a success. people was like: "what is THAT?"
What i would like for punkie, suggestions:
- A key command that immedeately "inverses" all colors. Like a negative of a photograph. This you can use to "play" the beat with the key, giving radical visual color changes
- the ability to output text messages! i use the linein in winamp, but i'd still like to announce the song title and our web address
- in general: the more keycommands that radically alter the image on screen the better: I "play" punkie live, by changing colors etc manually on the beat. Its really effectful, when doing it on key moments in the songs. Also punkie is really sensitive in itself, so its really good!
Thank you for doing Punkie! It rules!

Thanks for your compliments ugress ;) , I think a "negative screen" key will be easy to make.
For the text output this is a little bit complicated, I will see if I could do it easily...
Thanks for your idea ugress !
