The link is

http://www.mp3organiser.com , You need to install the server then try the experimental client (in the downloads section), works under IE only currently.

The next version should work on Netscape as well and Personal Java (got it working in the emulator tonight),
so you can control Winamp from your PDA , with a Wireless
card this would be quiet interesting, plus you get album
covers and Live Lyrics popping up to.

Cheers

Hi Rikki,

To get it working you need to unzip all the files rmi.zip to WINDOWSDIR\java\trustlib (c:\windows in your case).

Under trustlib you should then have directories named - com, java, sun, sunw. Close down and your IE browsers.

You then need to run the Winamp Server for the applet to work , This is located under START/Programs/MP3Organiser/Winamp Server. You run this
where winamp is running.

Current you need to put RemoteControl.htm & control.zip into a directory on your server which is accessable via
a web server (Using Option Pack or PersonalWebserver) and then browse to it via (e.g http://localhost/winampremote/remotecontrol.htm)

You should then be able to see a popup window which can control winamp and display ALbums and Lyrics.

I'll try to post another version today or tomorrow which doesn't require a web server for the applet.

Cheers

Kevin
