playlist file additions

When i have a playlist loaded and playing, if I click another file on my desktop for example, how can i configure my winamp to just add this file to my playlist. Right now, if i want to add a file i havt to go to "add" then "file" etc. And if I double click an mp3 file in a folder without going through the add menu, it just erases my playlist and plays that file. I want it to add the file to the bottom of my playlist. I know this is possible because this is a way a friend's winamp is set up. And we can't figure up how her preferences are set different than mine. Tell me how to do this please! thanks,

Go to the preferences (Control + P) then setup > file types.

There is a checkbox near the bottom right that says 'Enqueue as default action' Make sure the box is checked / enabled. It should work then. It just did when I tried it anyway.
