my skin the woodshop is finally published.. but why is that steve moss skin still on the first page of the new skins? its old now since a new bunch of skins are published.. i think they should update that more often..
i think NEW skins should be put there.. i know many other new skins are there since last week, but still that skin is the first skin there...
my skin for example doesnt show up till like 5 or 6 pages back.. but it IS much newer...
i think every new skin should get an equal shot at the first page...
if you think this rant is rediculous, then just ignore it, i just had to get it off my chest

New skins in the Recently Published folder? Wow, there's a novel idea. I noticed this as well. Seems Knight's Tale enjoyed quite the adequate amount of air time in there also. Hmmm ...
Change ... I hear the hoof beats.
Wood Shop is an excellent skin and will be well taken care of ... at least if I have anything to say about it. Lynx, your skin has a permanent home on my hard drive and I'm sure on the HD of a few others as well. Don't be too disheartened. Oh, and my Nikki skin (not that I really care much about it) was buried on the last page of the Recently Published skins from start to finish. Now it rests about 1000 to 2000 skins back in the Human section and about 500 to 1000 skins back in the Web Site section.
Changes?
Whoops, forgot to give my idea.
In the Recently Published section, why not have the skins appear randomly or in varying orders on each load. Would give better air time to new skins this way I think.
2 pennies. ;)

Lynx;
My best deduction is that those recent skins are sorted by ID number, not published dates. The sponsored skins published right away, or they have higher ID numbers. They then sit on recent skins list until the review process catches up to them.

duk, im not concerned about number of downloads that much.. its just i think the older skins should be removed from the new list.. like a night tale and wargame...
coz they are there for almost 2 weeks now.. i think ppl had a chance to dl them already.. and let NEW skins be there so they get a chance to be downloaded...

[cough] I hate corporate sponsers [cough]

IF they sort them by ID number.. then why dont sort them with highest ID first, and then make it lower
but best would be random, like with the comments at the skins
The prob is/was/still is likely if they do sort by ID number (and I think cappy is correct, they do), those corporate sponser skins will always be on top cause they get immediate publishing. Friggin' Knight's Tale ... I'll give you a Knight's Tale!
Agreed Lynx. Gotta change somehows. :)
