Ok, i'm a beginner, so maybe my question is quick answered:

When i'm trying to broadcast music AND speech, at the same time, with fading etc. only the voice will play, and the listeners will only hear the music through my microphone, not broadcasted. to prevent this i have to disable the advanced recording mode, but this means restart winamp...

i own a creative soundblaster 512, and use the shoutcast DSP plugin. Can Anyone help me out ? is there a plugin i forgot out there ? or am i just too stupid ?! ( i know u will say i am ;) )

It's your soundcard bro. I don't think the SB 512 can handle the advanced mode in the plugin. You may need to upgrade if you want to have voice and music. I had the same problem when I had an old SoundBlaster card, but when I upgraded to an SB Live card everything worked fine.

I am experiencing the same scenerio explained above. But, I have an SB Live! Value card. I am wondering if it's an issue with the w2k drivers for the card. *shrug*

Rev, make sure you download the latest drivers.

Yeah, I make it a bi-weekly habit to peak for new drivers. I guess the w2k drivers are behind the curve. :)

uhm, ok, then maybe its my soundcard, but normally must work ! A friend of mine has the same card, and its working pervect. Ok, anyway, are there any plugins except the shoutcast plugin that can broadcast speech ? i once had one that could be inserted into the playlist like a normal track. whenever you played this "track" your speech was broadcasted...without music, but at least without restarting winamp. does anyone know how its named or if s.o. has it e-mail to me ?
