That's what I've been hearing a lot lately! In Canada, the gas has went down to 74.5¢ CDN/Litre, but does anyone know how much gas is in the States? What do you think of this issue? What would you do about it?
If I were you Americans, I'd haul my ass over to the Maritimes, and stockpile... during "gas wars", prices can hit the low low price of $0.19 a liter. Worth making the trip, even if your from West Coast. Just make sure you have an oil tanker handy :D
"mini"vans... "S"UVs... they deserve their crummy lot in life.

$1.78 is as low as I've seen in the past few days. Add to the current power crisis in California, and it's just going to be hell out here (fortunately, I'll be up north for the summer... YAY!)

Gas in Moncton is ridiculous! About 1 - 2 years ago, Moncton's gas was only 34.3¢ CDN per Litre, when the rest of hte Maritimes got like 59.9¢ per Litre! Thais was during the gas war! Now, it's like more than doubled!

Dear god... you live in that hell hole? I wasted 3 years of my life there!
Don't moan about petrol prices until you've been to England. It's more than double that of America.
At least $6 a gallon so stop whining, you get it cheap.

True. I do have one solution for the summer though... carpool (and everyone pitches in for gas). Worked last year.
it's about $1.45 - $1.55 (U.S.) a gallon for 87octane around here

Moncton is not a hell hole, but I've seen better cities before like Toronto and Montreal. Also, here's the latest gas price for Moncton : 73.9¢ CDN per Litre for 87 Octane.

OUCH  ! I'm just glad that I'm not in Europe! Here's the latest prices as I read in the Times&Transcript this morning :
St John's, NF - 88.9¢ CDN/Litre
Halifax, NS - 83.8¢ CDN/Litre
Charlottetown, PE - 75.4¢ CDN/Litre
Montreal, PQ - 87.9¢ CDN/Litre
Toronto, ON - 83.9¢ CDN/Litre
Vancouver, BC - 61.9¢ CDN/Litre
and for Moncton, NB, 73.9¢ CDN/Litre!
Moncton, NB has the 4th lowest gas prices in Canada, with Vancouver, BC; Edmonton, AB; and Winnipeg, MB having prices lower than Moncton!

In Croatia prices are about 1$ per litre (1$ = 8kn). Before prices started getting high about 0.5$ (4kn).

Yahoo! Looks like the price of crude oil is finally dropping! Right now in Moncton, gas is only 71.7¢ CDN/Litre for regular! Sudden drop in less than a day, eh? Actually, once, gas jumped 21¢ CDN/Litre from 57.9 to 78.9 about 4 - 6 months ago! The highest Moncton residents ever had to pay was 82.5¢ CDN/Litre.

Dang... that gas war summer before last was amazing. I remember that that Irving by Harrison Trimble HS was down to 18¢ CDN/Litre.

Gas here in colorado, is $199.9 for 91 octane, my car needs high octane, so it gets better milage with 91 octane, so its cheaper for me to get 91 octane, if your car runs better on high octane, try using it for a while it might be cheaper, it is for me...

What makes me angry are all the IDIOT greens who do not want to drill in the Alaskan wildlife refuge...
THere are three ways to decrease american gas prices:
Decrease gas taxes (thats good for about 18 cents a gallon in the US)
Increase Domestic Supply- and the best way to do so is drilling in Alaska.
Decrease Gas Demand- although tempting, it is an economic
reality that placing a cap on prices will create artificial
demand. The best thing to do is to let high gas prices have
their own effect on decresing demand- thereby naturally
forcing people to decrease car usage, not buy large vehicles, and look into alternative energy vehicles.

ACK! If you mean Imperial gallons, then you're paying like $1.35 CDN/Litre! And if you meant US Gallon, then that's like $1.63 CDN / Litre! I'm just glad that I'm not in Europe, since those prices are like 50 - 75% more than in Canada! Also, those who use diesel gasoline are actually paying $1 CDN / Litre and those who use regular gasoline are paying 79.9¢ CDEN / Litre right now!

There is a ton of Gas and oil in the Gulf, Bush doesn't want to drill it until he's exhuasted his wells.

$1.12 per litre
or
£3.03 per gallon
