Alright so this isn't really any fun at all but I am sitting here bored and very hot so I felt like it.
Whats the weather like where you are right now?
Here in Manchester it is uncharacteristically (is that spelling correct?) hot today. The sun is shining through our two layers of glass up here on the 8th floor and so it is like being in a greenshouse today.
Yes for once it is hot in England today.
Here - Sunny and hot (East coast, England)
I'm going to leave my comp soon and actually go outside and enjoy it :)

Warm in Hong Kong, in the high 20s (Celsius). It has been a sunny day today.
The air is choking still, though. Hong Kong has become a windless city. We've built far too many skyscrapers.

I thought thats what the Winamp forums were all about, repeated threads.
Anyway, I am sure it was ages ago so what does it matter? The weather varies all the time so I am just asking what it is like right now.

Did anyone watch the F.A cup,
I sure as hell didn't :)
PabUK

No, and I forgot to watch the F1 qualifying as well.
liverpool won, Owen scored 2 goals, and some random arsenal player, french guy, scored as well. not that i care being a beleaguered sheffield wednesday fan.
To all you guys outside england: this is the result of the final of the greatest football (sorry, soccer!) cup competition (which we happen NOT to call the world series as it only involves the one country.)
to keep this post on topic it is warm and sunny here in the midlands!

Not to start a "world" war, but when the owners of baseball decided to start playing for "the championship of the world", there were no teams outside the U. S. worthy of being called "world" class. This isn't snobbery, it's a fact. Baseball had only been around for a little over a decade and this was 1907 you have to understand. The press labeled it the "World Series" sometime later and the name stuck.
Canadian teams have joined the league, so it is somewhat more international (or continental at least). Besides Japan and Cuba, there still aren't any "world" quality baseball leagues. And talks to have a more diverse World Series have been held with the Japanese in the past. Nothing has been worked out yet. Besides, Europeans in general just don't seem to be interested in baseball.
"Thanks for the sports update Randy. Now let's move over to the weather center and Stormy Clould. What's the weather like Stormy"?
"Well Talking Head, it's warm and sunny here in the midlands, and looks to stay that way for the next few days. I'll be back with the full forecast after these words from our sponsors, Nullsoft and Gnutella".
(I live in the U. S. midlands (Midwest), Missouri to be exact). ;) GO BLUES!!! :D

Just a joke tho', lets please not have a world war, as i think that there may be quite a few folks from the usa filling their flame thowers!
I DID NOT MEAN TO CAUSE ANY HURT TO ANY PEEPS FROM THE USA, PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME!!

No, no flaming or "world" wars!!!! I tried to make clear that was not my intent with my opening diclaimer. ;)
I like British football, except when the fans occasionally mob the field and/or tear the stands apart.

Thanks Rand!
I was trying to figure out a respectable way of making that statement:)

Arghhh, maybe if Soccer (or footy) were more exciting, there wouldn't be such boredom to drive fans into such a fury:p
Just kidding mates! No flaming me for cracking jokes, K?

Don't get me started, X:)
I make all kinds of comparisons to sports. It's competition, just the same as competing for a job, competing for the right to live(war?), competing for that fine babe next door.;)

Correction, the Arsenal player who scored was Freddie Ljungberg who is Swedish.
