Hi.
I've tried Milkdrop lately and it looks really good. But I can only choose 16 bit color modes. With Geiss I can choose 32 bit color modes so my videocard does seem to support them. What am I missing? Please help.

The voodoo3 can't do hardware 3D acceleration in 24 or 32 bit color; it only does it in 16 bit color. (btw, it's not just milkdrop, either, it's anything you try to run on that card.)
Sorry man...

Thx for the swift reply. So Milkdrop uses 3d-acceleration. I was aware that a Voodoo III can't display 3d in more than 16 bit but since Geiss could run in 32 bit color, I kinda expected Milkdrop to do the same. Alas, it doesn't work that way. Maybe time for an upgrade? Any suggestions about what graphics-card I should use as a replacement?

Well, I just let v0.99d out, and that might have helped, I'm waiting for feedback... other than that, I'm still under the impression that the original drivers that came with win2k are the only ones that work. =) Straaaange, yes?
