NSIS question

Hey Ppl,
I hope to distribute my apps using NSIS.
I've read the FAQs.
Does it work on all systems regardless of installed dlls etc.
I've distributed plugins before. This is just a pressing q.

NSIS works on all systems, but unfortunately Visual Basic programs always need those pesky runtimes :(
They keep giving me headaches.
