lol... what is this world coming to? we can't even teach our kids to read...

as for php, I've experimented with it (shhhh), but I can't afford to pay for it if it becomes a habit.

getting them to run cgi scripts might be a touch harder as i'm finding

intermediate c++ skills should be tought at the age of 7 tho so we can keep pace with technology, a full and indepth understanding of computer architecture and quantum mechanics should be routine by the age of 9.

we need a big effort if we're going to advance the human race any more

Starting C at age seven seems like an okay idea, but that might be a little too early... I'd suggest fluency in BASIC by age six, HTML by seven, and C by nine. :)

be realistic Java @ 3 years and regress lol
