behind a firewall (cannot listen)

Hi everybody...

I am behing a corporate firewall and I would like to listen to some shoutcast broadcasts but I get the "unable to connect to ...." error in winamp.

Is there a way to configure the proxy server on Winamp?

Yes

Open Winamp and Press Ctrl-P. Click "setup" at the top of the list on the left. The proxy setting should be on the botton right now. You'll need to check with your sysadmin as to the specific settings you need, but it should be something like 10.1.1.1:8080 or proxy:82 or proxy.companyname.com:8585

You get the idea...
