In Win2K SP2, hit print screen and paste the outcome into paintbrush. The pasted "frame grab" is animated within paint too.

That's how overlay mode works. Basically, you pick a color (or it picks one by default) and anything that is that color on the screen will display "the action". I believe this is also how video players, such as Real, Windows Media, etc., work as well. (Try taking a screen shot of some video and I think you'll just see a color, such as pink.)

So, what is pretty cool to do is to set your windows colors to the overlay color. Try setting "Window" or "3D Objects" (under Appearance in the Display control panel) to the overlay color. Then run the plug-in for a trippy GUI!

Yeah, that IS cool! I set Milkdrop to desktop mode, and set 3d objects color to 15,0,15. WOW, great idea, PaleGreen1!!!
