My first sig ...Display problems

OK so I've made my first "sig" at "Flamingtext.com", now how the hell do I display it ???
I've downloaded it into a file in "My Doc's" and thought it was a matter of cut and paste, Doh !
Can anybody help pls !

Use homestead: http://www.homestead.com and register, then upload your sig and put a link to the image into your sig

Apparently Homstead is dead. Register a site with f2s.com, upload your image file. If your f2s.com site is http://www.username.f2s.com and your image is mycoolpic.jpg then once uploaded the address of the your pic will be "www.username.f2s.com/mycoolpic.jpg" (w/out quotes) now go into your forums.winamp profile and in the Signature text box type:
http://www.username.f2s.com/mycoolpic.jpg

You'll have to put the image tags on either side, info here (http://forums.winamp.com/index.php?action=bbcode)

I think that F2S only stopped taking on more members was because they were upgrading their servers to accomodate new members.

First of all thanks to everyone who posted there know-how & showed me what to do, also thanks to "Invisable Man" for your offer but it's about time I got my own site so I've registered with "f2s" :)

Yes "Bilbo Baggins" is correct in what he says about the new servers on "f2s" and they seem to load at light speed !!!

As for "Homestead" well thats another story !
No they arn't dead..yet but unless u wanna pay somthing in the region of $10 p.m. as of the 26th June u will be down-graded to a much smaller & very limited web page. Here's all the info http://www.homestead.com/~site/HomesteadPersonal/CEOLetter.ffhtml

Oh, thats why my sig was playing up, i had no idea, as well as AOL, GEOCITIES IS CRAP.

Oh yea, AOL is good for one reason, you can upload sigs onto that like mine is.

it kicks hosting off ur own computer, no ads, it's fast, and u can edit the files straight from where they are. not to mention no uploading, no bs, no junk e-mails


it just saves on a whole lotta problems :)
