I've got a Geforce 2 MX and i'm using the desktop mode in full resolution with the hardware blit on. It runs really great. It runs just as smooth as the normal fullscreen mode!
BUT the problem is that I get an interlaced image with vertical scanlines and the right half of the of the image "falls of the screen". I wish i could take a screenshot 'cause it's kinda hard to explain.
I hope you're able to fix this but i'm afraid my hardware doesn't support it for the full 100%...

cya and thanks for the best vis ever,

this same thing happens to me, and in addition - the colors are a little messed up. The 'background' is green instead of black. Oh well, that doesn't bother me. Unfortunately I only get to see half the screen.

I also have a GeForce 2 MX card, on a 750 Athlon w/ 384ram

Runs great fullscreen and windowed.

the color thing does suck more than I thought :| After watching it for a while now, then switching back to no hardware blit, I see that I'm missing out on 99.9% of the colors :D I think with hardware blit it may actually be running in like, 256 colors ;D

Hopefully Mr Geiss can have the chance to test it on a GeForce 2 MX to see what we mean. Still, this and Geiss are THE BEST winamp plugins ever created. Keep up the great work :D

Yes, my colors are green too. Do you got an ASUS Geforce too? Anyway, i'm keeping hardware blit on, 'cause it runs soo much faster...the colors of the vis are weird anyway ;)

nope, I have a Leadtek WinFast GeForce2 MX card. I got it because it has the dual monitor support, but it turns out that the support sucks (at least with Win2k) and I would have been better off getting something else :(

I'm keeping the blit accel on too. It runs much smoother :D

I am having sort of the same problem. The only problem I am having is the colors being messed up. It's got a green base instead of black. This is with the Harware Blit on. If it is off, it looks normall, but is slow. Everything else works fine, it's just the over lay that has the color prob.

Specs:
Athlon 750@1000
256Mb PC133
Abit KT7-RAID
Ati A-I-W Radeon (driver ver. 5.13.01.3102)
Win 2000 Pro SP2
latest supported drivers and BIOS

I get the same prob with desktop mode. Hardware blit causes it to display half of the image with scanlines in between. Also, the background is green. I have a LeadTek WinFast GeForce2 GTS with NVidia Reference Drivers 12.41 for Windows 2000. Desktop res is 1024x768x32. Hope I can help with fixing this problem... in all other aspects, MILKDROP ROCKS!

Why is this so difficult for all of you to comprehend?

Note the words next to the check box for hardware blit:

"faster, but not widely supported"

nVidia cards DO NOT SUPPORT HARDWARE BLIT!!!
I'm not sure about a GeForce3, but none of the rest do.

There is no way you will EVER have hardware blit working properly with your video cards. There's nothing Ryan can do about it.

Just turn down the texture resolution and run it without hardware blit. It goes just fine.

Are you pissed off because your videocard has broken memory?
