ConXis (Conference and Expo for Internet Streaming) Details Announced
June 28, 2001 – ConXis: (Conference and Expo for Internet Streaming), a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of audio and video broadcasting on the internet, today announced that the next ConXis event will be March 1 – 3, 2002 in the Chicago, IL suburb of Rosemont at the Sheraton O’Hare Gateway Suites.
The slogan for this year's conference is "We're Ready. Be Prepared".
ConXis 2002 is the place to see many great speakers covering topics such as Licensing, Content Creation, Audio Editing, Video Editing, Formats, Marketing, Advertising on Internet Stations and more. There will be product announcements, the ConXis Expo Hall, and the ConXis Gong Show.
Speakers scheduled as of June 28, 2001 include Michael Bryant of Sonic Foundry, DJ Ari of Digitallyimported.com, Trevor Lane from Net Music Promotions, Sean Lozensky from iM Networks, Toby Sheets from Rio Grande Mud, Jay Krivanek from ShoutClub, Ken Dardis of AudioGraphics.com, Kiriki Delany from Streamguys.com and more.

The cost of attending ConXis is $279.00 per person if registered before November 1, 2001. The cost includes admission to all three days of the conference, unlimited admission to the ConXis Expo Hall, Keynote breakfast on March 1, continental breakfast on March 2nd and 3rd, Lunch on all three days, admission to the events on Friday and Saturday nights, and more.
