Hello!

I am trying my hand at this SHOUTcast thing, right? Well, I can connect to my server just fine across the LAN. No problems there.

However, whenever I try to connect from a PC out on the 'net, Winamp says [ICY 200 OK] and then times out.

On the server, I see the connection, but then it disconnects. Any help is appreciated...

My system is SHOUTcast 1.8.0 on Win2k through a Linksys BFSR11 DSL router with ports 80, 8000 and 8001 forwarded. The web site is accessible, but the streaming media doesn't seem to want to go back out.

Thanks in advance!

Same problems here,

The weird thing is that it runs ok when I startup shoutcast & winamp.
But a day later I get only a message ICY 200 OK.

I am using an external program which provides sound. The machine I am talking about gets an input signal from an external source. Operating system Windows 2000.

Could this be related to silences?

Please help:confused:
