advanced mode? no music

when I enable advanced mode none of my listeners can here the music but they can here my voice form mike

however if I disable it they ca here the music?
what can be teh problen
I have sb liþve value sound card
and my friend with the same card doesnt have any prblems

i'd suggest checking out the mixer settings (it's that little yellow thing on the down right part of your screen ;) ). then select advanced settings, recording, and here you are. you have this problem, because dnas sets recording to mic, and then you can say a lot, but when you selected simple mode, the mic is muted, and the recording is set to stereo out. that's the whole problem. so just set advanced mode, set mixer stuff, and should be ok..

It also might be wise to update your drivers. Winamp will work with most soundcards, but SHOUTcast is different. It is supposed to work with the same amount as Winamp (Winamp works with 90% of most consumer sound systems), But SHOUTcast is a little more picky and works with (at this time) 85-89% of most consumer systems. But then when sound card makers update their drivers, the add support for more software.

yea i'm having the same prob, and have been having the same prob since i think even the last version of SHOUTcast plugin. mixer is set up ok and everything, got all the latest drivers, but still, listeners can ONLY hear stuff from mic or line-in (depending on which i'm using) and no music. also, they can hear it all regardless of wheter i have clicked "push to talk" or not. is this simply a bug?? i'm assuming no, since there aren't a million posts about this same problem. my setup: win2k pro. and a sblive! (not value)

also, sideproblem - i can't stream linein:// ....my listeners get an error (sorry i forget exactly what it was - yp 200 or something) and basically it just says no source. i tried to reconfigure server not to drop if it was inactive, but no luck. sorry bout the humongous post.
