error connecting to acm stream

Ok read the posts about this and they say to reinstall your audio codecs. How do you do this? I went into the windows help and got to all the audio codecs. The windows media codec was set to 7. My options were to move it higher up or down the numeric scale. Suggestions? They will be much appreciated. :)

wrong codec, you need the FgH MP3 Codec, not the WMA Codec: http://mskyus.www.conxion.com/msdownload/netshow/3.01/x86/en/nstools.exe

I dont have that codec. I downloaded nstools and still dont have it. I am looking in the audio compression codecs. Is that the right spot?

that is the right codec, it is the one from the shouctast page
