Okay peps, here is my problem.
I start up, and it connects just fine; but here's the kicker. When it loads, it says that it connnects and then 2 seconds later it says "...connection closed...".
Then, the next kicker is; I can't get my window to pop up and allow me to set up my mic and talk.
I had to take off all my software for WINAMP and SHOUTCAST because we were vicitms of the "Code RED Virus"; so now I am starting from square one.:(
I need all the help I can get... I never really knew what I was doing to begin with, so please be pactient with me.
THANKS!

You'd probably been best posting this in one of the 2 SHOUTcast forums.
I can move it there if you want?
In the meantime, maybe some of this will help?

Also check out the txt & ini docs that came with:
1) the Shoutcast DSP (dsp_read.txt / dsp_sc.ini)
2) the Shoutcast Server (readme.txt / sc_serv.ini)
To access the config:
Winamp Prefs -> DSP Plugins -> Shoutcast Source -> Config
(enable: advanced mode for mic)
Left click the systray icon to access the connection settings, etc.
Check your .ini file/s (Shoutcast Server/Source) to make sure the correct IP & password etc is entered properly.
Full sys specs would certainly help too
(especially: Windows OS, Soundcard, Connection type, etc)
I'm assuming it must be Win2k if you got hit by Code Red?
Hope it didn't do too much damage!
