what i would really love to see is a plug that some how made a list of each song as it gets played, and then wont let the randomizer play that song again untill all other songs have been played.

(dont let em tell ya they fixed the randomizer-it is still the only sucky thing about WA)

this list could either be associated with a PL, or could apply no matter what.

so, if i played 'if 6 was 9' -hendrix, i would never again hear that song on this puter (no matter if i turn winamp or the puter off, then on)(unless I double click that song) untill all songs have played.

there could be an option to not play 'allready heard songs' either by shuffle or sequential. i.e. if i put WA on 'little wing' it would play that, then skip 'if 6 was 9' and go on to 'castles made of sand'

also, could be an option not to put songs in the 'allready heard list' during specified hours of the day, so that songs that play while you are asleep would play again.

I really hope a plugin author reads this. I would do it myself, but all C+ means to me is an improvement in my gpa.

really, i cant believe that this is not a basic feature of winamp!

so, what can we do? i was thinking of mailing all the plug in guys that i could find on the plugin pages. it seems like it would be an easy program to write. I could make a flow chart of what it would do, easily, but then to learn programming....argh.

i suppose sooner or later there will be a programing language that understands english.

when: song is played > log the file name.

when: song is done > choose new song at random.

but: if song is logged > choose a different song.

when : 'played' log = playlist > erase 'played' log.

I think that a computer that could turn 1's and 0's into music should be able to understand that!
