This skin is currently missing very little...
(some icons for playlist-menus, the minimized eq cursors (maybe))

It is my first serious skin....

Firstly, welcome to the skinlove forums... :)

Very nice :D

The colour scheme reminds me of the NSDN. All three colours go well. I especially like the drop shadow effect.

You are missing a ':' in the time display above the vis.
I think all the sliders on the main window should mimic the eq sliders as they are far superior to the current vol/bal/pos bars.
The mono/stereo could do with something special.
The clutterbar is too boring for me. And I think there shoudl be something beneath the vis. Maybe a logo or just an orange bar.
On the PL, the misc and load/save/new buttons could do with something perhaps.

I btw tried to uplad the skin on winamp, but it said "invalid component...." I looked through the forums and it seems that the DB is down at the moment....

Personally, I'd drop that orange and have either "yellow on black" or
"black on yellow".

This is exactly the kind of skin I like to use myself.

It's clean and clear cut, well defined and highly usable.

I just don't like the colours. Why not make a set of colour variations? If you've built a sensible layered image shouldn't take much to do so...

Having simple skin is nice sometimes, but I think that this skin is too simple and needs to be spiced up a little. The shading is too definite. You may want to blend that a little. Also, I don't think there is any real subject. I don't really know what I'm talking about, but maybe consider that first thing I said. ;)

i agree with colldawg hose shadings are a little to i dunno the word, but they cut off rather suddenly and there needs to be some blending between the shadowed and non shadowed parts.

It's ntovery often that we have simple skins in here, so I think it's nice for a change. I personally disagree with those who say it is boring. As for the shadows, I think a blur on the edges would ruin them.
