at 1280x960 i get the white blobs and then about a second of waveform animation, and then nothing else. and the task bar blinks through.
at 1024x768 milkdrop starts repeatedly flashing white, and also another odd problem...it seems as though my display stops refreshing, and every frame of video is overlayed on top of the previous frames. with waveform motion...when the waveform spins, the previous frame's drawing does not disappear or fade out, and so after about a minute of running milkdrop my screen is completely flooded. and also with the load menu...it deactivates but doesn't disappear when i press esc. another weird thing is that sometimes this problem only occurs in the bottom half of the screen and the top half runs just fine. reducing resolution to 800x600 helped. i reverted to milkdrop 99e, and now another odd thing is happening. i don't know exactly what to call it...that "pulsating with the beat" effect i guess...every preset is doing it, and i can't seem to turn it off.
i'm using winxp rc1, a leadtek winfast geforce2 32 meg, leadtek driver version 6.6.6.0 dated 12/22/2000...i'll update and see if that helps anything.
