Well like the message says i seek a Dolby Digital file format plug-in. I need to play .ac3 files in WinAmp. If somebody can help me please e-mail me at djwild_msys@yahoo.com or post a reply to my message. Thanks!

Liquid Audio can do it, which I belive comes with the full version, or you can get it here: http://www.liquidaudio.com/products/liqplayer/plugin/index.jsp

Get http://ganymede.spaceports.com/~cb0y/ac3decode821.zip from www.ac3dec.com
Zip file contains an in_ac3.dll file. It's crappy but plays ac3 files (not well and not in 5.1 surround sound)

Is Liquid Audio able to play AC3 5.1 and NOT DECODE it to stereo? I have Aureal 8830 (Vortex2) card.

PowerDVD still sucks very hard as music-player (it leaks loads of resources of some kind, causing it to halt and make W98 halt very often), but it is the only player I have access to that can play AC3 properly..

That really shouldn't be so difficult to support in WinAMP, so, why hasn't anyone done it yet?
