I know this isn't really a plug-in, but I have just posted an app on my site (http://stair.org.uk/software.html), that acts as a screensaver. If winamp is playing, it will automatically start your visualisation. If winamp isn't playing, or isn't even running (how likely's that?), then your options specify whether to start your music and the visualisation, or whether to start another of your screensavers.
I'm really pleased with the results, so I thought I'd share them with the world, although I haven't bothered trying to PIMP it (yet).
