if this is currently possible, please let me know.
I recently learned about a way to open an AIM window with a link from a website that is preformatted with the recipient's name. I was wondering if there was a way to make a link that would automatically open winamp and play a specific webmaster defined url. Can this be done?

put that URL in a playlist (M3U/PLS) and put a link to that playlist on your site

for a shoutcast stream you can just use
http://server:port/listen.pls
