Hi all!
Looking throu the FAQ and archives, haven't found anything to answer my problem, so here goes:
I have configured my sc_serv.ini to use the extended logging options.
CurrentLogIn references a file, sc_input.txt, which is formatted thus:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<winamp>
<listeners> <!-- LISTENERS --> </listeners>
<maxlisteners> <!-- MAXLISTENERS --></maxlisteners>
<description> <!-- DESCRIPTION --> </description>
<url> <!-- URL --> </url>
<hits> <!-- HITS --> </hits>
<currentsong> <!-- CURRENTSONG --> </currentsong>
</winamp>
Now, this does *create* the designated output file (sc_output.xml), but it *doesn't* put anything in it! I get a crisp new 0-dollar bill...I mean a brand new empty file.
Any ideas? TIA
On a tangent, and this is prolly more important, how do I directly access the XML stream from Shoutcast? I'm basically trying to create a web interface using XML data. Using the sc_output was just a quick idea, but being able to pull XML directly would be best...
