this is the first beta for it, there will be drawers and what not... just not yet...

steve, i downloaded it, and try running it, but it doesnt seem to have a main window.
when you right click down on the taskbar where it usualyl would have the different windows theres none there.

Yeah, I had that problem, too... I had to unzip it to make it work. Not sure why that happened. I'm sure you'll get it all working right, with all the drawers and stuff, soon. :D

once it gets a playlist i could actually use it as my main skin.

since it's much less quality loss to make a png smaller then bigger, maybe the skin should be pretty big, but set to a small size with the script, then when people resize it, it doesn't appear to lose any quality? make any sence? is it possible?

i don't see why it's not possible. I'll investigate whether I want to do that or not. The skin was designed to be super small, the resizing is there for those of us who have super big monitors, not necesarily resizing this small skin on a regular monitor.

btw, to everyone else who hasn't figured this out yet, extract the wal file, don't try to load it through winamp, for some reason it doesn't work.

I reported this bug a zillion time to rOn, but he won't listen to me. Up to now the only zip manager that makes valid zip for winamp3 is Windows Commander to my knowledge.

I like it.

If you are up for suggestions, maybe you could make the play button "light" the darker blue around the posbar when it isn't active and the light blue of the posbar track when it is active, I think the colors would work better together.

Was that understandable?

WinRAR works great too. For zipping, that is.

Awesome skin. I like kinwashi's idea, personally. It's a bit small at 1600x1200, and the bicubic filtering makes me dizzy... My only suggestions would be to finish those drawers.

Also.. What exactly are you putting in drawers? EQ and thinger would work, but it seems like playlist and ML would be better off in their own windows.

Hey, just had another idea, but it'd take some scripting. And option to have the PL in a drawer, and a button that detaches the drawer and puts it in it's own window, like usual. That way you could have it clip out or whatever from the main window, but people that want to do some serious PL editing wouldn't be stuck with a little bit of real estate.

very elegant little skin


only gripe is that the transparency doesn't look that good on light or dark backgrounds. it's like it doesn't blend quite enough. although i'm sure that once they get in component alpha over the desktop the problem will be fixed.

also the green play button doesn't fit the theme ;) other than that... lovely work. takes up so little screen real estate it's fantastic.

Can't believe that no one's commented on EAT2 ... f'n beautiful little skin there. Reminds me of assmosis in the style of the right-hand button cluster thingy. Definitely want to see this released!
