Hi.

My CPU specs are

P-244

64-RAM

Not sure about the graphics card, it's nothing special though.

Basically, i'm after some decnt visulizations that will run smootly on my(limited) computer - in beat with the music. Something that can really amaze me. Any suggestions appreciated :)

Doubt it. With a computer that old most CPU time will go to decoding the MP3. You won't get much more then the mini-vis or maybe AVS in a small window

1GHz vs 244MHz... yep, I'd call that an improvement :p

Try Whitecap. That's really nice and very configurable.

Well, back the time when I had my P2-233 MMX, I used to run Geiss (http://www.geisswerks.com) pretty smooth at 640x480 fullscreen in 8 bit color. It still looks awesome, even in 8 bit . The cool thing is, when you have a fast CPU (1 Ghz :D ), you can run Geiss in 32 bit true-color, which makes it look even more awesome :D.

Screw AVS, it offers nice effects, but eats Mhz power for breakfast .

Peace.
