I have a problem... I know I made my skin second but I have permission from the copywrite owner (Brian Kissinger at www.visualparadox.com) I beleave she has commited copywrite infringement. Brian said that I was the only one, as long as I promote his web site on the skin. Well, here are the ID Numbers
Mine:Component ID: 48680
The Rip:Component ID: 1561

Thank You Guys,
Johnni

I'm not even looking into this, 'cause whoever you say ripped the theme beat you to it by about 47,000 skins. If you are serious in your assertion that you have sole permission and the other author has infringed on a copywright, you will need to inform the original author so that he may complain to AOL corporate or Nullsoft admin - NOT us - the skin review squad. We are not AOL employees, and are not concerned with matters of copyright infringement beyond duplication of other winamp skins. Thank you for your concern, and the best of luck to you in your pursuits.

after looking at the skins, not to be an ass, but I really don't think it's worth pursuing... it's just a dancing CG skeleton. I'm pretty sure Poser used to come with this model anyway, so I'm not even certain it's that original. Could be wrong on all counts here though.

I hate to break the news to you, BUT IT IS NOT A RIP. With rips we look at one skin as compared to another skin. Not websites, artwork etc. Obviously the other skin was made a long time before yours and maybe has permission to use the artwork also. In any case, if the artwork copyright owner does not like a skin using his art, he has to file a complaint himself with the legal department of AOL, owners of Nullsoft. If it at that time is determined he is indeed the copyright owner, all skins depicting his work will be removed, including yours, permission or not.
